First album by French power-pop trio Beach Bugs, from Limoges.
At first gathered as a trio to make another punk band with rough and without compromise songs, Beach Bugs finally start to compose unpretentious pop songs. After a first EP in 2019, which offered them the opportunity to tour in France, Spain and Portugal, the band will now release a first album this October on Only Lovers Records. The genre is still the same but the band is more focused on the 70's punk pattern to build the songs and highlight candid melodies of chorus often sang in unison. The album is a collection of power-pop songs with naïve charm about love, guilt and uncertain future. A ballad, few 60's Doo Wop and a postcard song sang in French complete it. Fresh and nostalgic to make the summer last !
